Two Lighting Relays Controller Lighting Examples NEXT

Three-Rail Innovation's "Two Lighting Relays" controller provides timing and counting features for operating lighting accessories and lights in structures on a train layout.

The simple example, following, shows complete wiring for one 2LR continuously cycling layout lights in a random fashion.

The example 2LR is jumpered for its "Random Range ON/OFF" feature: each relay is independently cycled with "on" and "off" times randomly selected between a minimum and maximum time established by the jumpers. Operation is wired for continuous cycling.

Light A is on whenever relay 1 is on. Lights B and C, however, are on for combinations of relay 1 and 2 off or on, thus creating even more complex lighting actions.

Layout lights turn on and off without any discernible pattern, simulating people going in and out of buildings and rooms and turning the lights on and off.

Each light shown can, of course, actually be over thirty lights in lighting accessories and structures all over the train layout.

Three-Rail Innovations' Two Lighting Relays controller has even more features for operating layout lighting. Click to see how the Two Lighting Relays Controller can add lighting ACTION to your train layout.
