Basic features turn the relays ON or OFF based on simple combinations of inputs: NEXT

OFF/ON

The OFF/ON feature turns a Relay ON when its corresponding Input is ON.

A generally useful feature. Can be used to operate: Block Signals, Signal Bridges, Semaphore, Crossbuck (Common Lights), Crossing Gate, Banjo Signal, Gateman, Switch Tower, Ringing Bells, Newsstand, and many other trackside accessories.

Relay connections can turn an accessory ON when the relay is On, or turn an accessory OFF when the relay is ON.

Both

The Both feature turns a relay ON when both Inputs are ON.

Can be used to operate any accessory only when a train spans two track blocks or when two trains are in two separate track blocks, say passing each other.

For example, a gateman placed at a two-track highway crossing emerges only when trains are in both crossing tracks.

Either/Both

The Either/Both feature turns Relay-1 ON when either Input-1 or Input-2 are ON. Relay-2 is ON when both Input-1 and Input-2 are ON.

Can be used to operate one accessory when a train is in either of two track blocks and another accessory only when trains are in both of the same two track blocks.

ON and Not ON

The ON and Not ON feature turns a relay ON when the corresponding input is ON and the other input is OFF.

Can be used to develop your own custom railway signaling method or to operate accessories when a train is in one track block, but not in another track block.

Train Stopped

The "Train Stopped" feature also provides companion Train Moving, Limited when Stopped, Slow Flash when Stopped, and Fast Flash when Stopped features.

Input-1 is connected to an isolated outside rail using the separate transformer approach. Input-2 is connected to track center-rail power.

Relay-1 is ON when a train is in the Input-1 track block and Input-2 does not have power applied (no center-rail power). This means a train is in the track block, but is stopped. The feature set is useful for automatically operating trackside accessories that imply a stopped train, such as a Freight Station, Water Tower, Fueling Station, etc. One 2RC can be connected for "Train Stop and Wait" and another for "Train Stopped" to operate an accessory only when the train is stopped.

Latched

The Latched feature turns the Relay ON when its corresponding Input is ON. The Relay stays ON until the corresponding Input is OFF and the other Input comes ON.
