Train Power, Train Safety, and Track Switch Controls Are Performed with the Following Features: NEXT

Power Passing

The Power Passing feature activates a relay when a train passes from one to another separately powered track blocks.

Center-rail train power is switched so engine pickups and lighted passenger cars won't short center-rail power across track power blocks. This feature stops excessive sparking, e-unit dropouts, and similar problems at changes of center-rail power. Single and dual train directions can be accommodated.

Only One Relay ON

The Only One Relay ON feature provides OFF/ON, Latched, One-Time, Short-Time, and Long-Time operation, but only one relay is turned on at a time.

This feature is useful for most train control, train safety, and track switch operations.
