Trackside Accessories and Lights Can Be Operated for Specified ON and OFF Times with the Following Features: NEXT

Limited

The Limited feature turns the corresponding relay ON when its corresponding input is ON, stays ON for 10 Seconds minimum, and then stays ON until the input goes OFF.

If the input is ON for more than 20 seconds, then the relay is turned OFF and inhibited for 10 seconds. The relay is turned ON again if the input is ON or goes ON after the 10 second inhibition.

Quite useful for solenoid-operated accessories that may be damaged if operated continuously for a long time: gatemen, semaphores, etc. Also provides a little more action for an accessory: a gateman will emerge from his shack repeatedly, rather than just staying out, as a long train goes by.

One-Time

The One-Time-ON feature turns the relay ON for the jumper selected "On Time" when its corresponding input goes ON. After the "On Time" expires, the relay is turned OFF and remains OFF until the input is also OFF.

Thus, the relay is ON only once, always for the specified "On Time," as a train proceeds through the connected track block. A short track section can be conveniently used for activation, since the relay is always activated for the same ON time.

The "One-Time-ON" feature is useful for operating trackside accessories for a selected time when a train enters a track block. The accessory will not be activated again until a train leaves the track block.

Examples are: Gateman, Switch Tower, Ringing Bells, Newsstand, Light Towers, Building Lights, Light Sequencing, and others.

Quite useful for providing non-derailing for track switches that use track power. The switch motors are only on long enough to move the points and don't affect train power.

Short Time ON

The Short-Time feature turns the relay ON for the jumper selected "On Time" (5 to 25) seconds when the input goes ON. After "On Time" seconds, the relay is turned OFF and held OFF for the jumper selected "Off Time" (3 to 15) seconds.

After "Off Time" seconds, the relay may again be activated if a train is still in the track block or another train enters the track block.

Useful for: Gateman, Switch Tower, Ringing Bells, Newsstand, Light Towers, Building Lights, Light Sequencing, and others.

Long Time ON

The Long-Time feature turns the relay ON for the jumper selected "On Time" (30 to 90) seconds when the input goes ON. After "On Time" seconds, the relay is turned OFF and held OFF for the jumper selected "OFF" (15 - 25) seconds.

After "OFF" seconds, the relay may again be activated.

Lights can be wired to either (or both) the relay NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) contacts.

Useful for: Tower Lights, Building Lights, Light Sequencing, Street Lights, Billboard Lights, Building Smoke Generators, and others.
