The K 'N G Railplex Train Layout

John, with his friend Tom, created a portable O-gauge train layout presented at Rocky Mountain Division, Train Collectors' Association, shows.

The K 'n G Railplex is a high-action train layout showcasing four to eight trains running automatically in a single 234-foot track divided into thirty-eight "blocks." It has most every type of trackside accessory, all activated by trains moving over isolated outside rail track sections and operated with Three-Rail Innovations' controllers.

We run on a Windows NT server, so page file names should not have case-dependent problems. All the same, it is probably best to use upper-case letters in directory names, file names, and extensions.

We prefer use of these direct links, rather than appropriation of our copyrighted content.

We do like Quid Pro Quo arrangements. Send us an e-mail.

Three-Rail Innovations' Web Site Implementation

The Three-Rail Innovations web site has been designed for an 800 x 600 pixel resolution display screen. Higher resolutions should work well. Full color representation will be needed for pictures and most color graphics.

We design using a Netscape browser, and test on MicroSoft's Internet Explorer browser, AOL, and Mozilla Firefox. We deliberately test on older browser versions to make sure the web site will operate correctly for most visitors.

We like to keep processing simple: the main web site pages are coded in HTML, using only tags with a broad browser implementation. We do use JavaScript for rollovers and similar functions. The interactive order form is implemented with client-side JavaScript.
