One Two Relay Controller can be connected to operate a flashing crossbuck and crossing on each side of a highway crossing a train track.

Only two isolated-outside-rail track sections are needed. They are installed with insulating plastic pins at both ends of the isolated outside rail and with a length of track without an isolated-outside rail between them.

No additional transformers are needed: power for the 2RC is supplied by the same transformer powering the crossbucks and crossing gates (must be 12 - 14 volts). Outside-rail inputs are powered from track center-rail power.

As a train enters the track block, from either direction, the crossbucks will flash and the crossing gates will lower. The accessories remain on even if the train is entirely between the isolated outside-rail track sections. The accessories are turned off when the train leaves the further block.

Connections are wired as follows:

• Power for the 2RC controller is supplied with connections to the 12 - 14 volt accessory transformer.
• The common posts of each crossbuck and one post of both crossing gates are connected together and connected to one post of the accessory transformer.
• Relay-1 is wired to operate the crossing gates and to operate the flashing crossbucks through Relay-2.
• Outside-rail Input-1-A and Input-2-A are separately connected to the isolated-outside rails of the special track sections.
• Outside-rail Input-1-B and Input-2-B are connected together and to a source of center-rail (train) power. Connections can be made at the track, as shown, or to the transformer post, or any convenient location.

The 2RC jumper block is set for: feature set 3-V-4, "Within-Track- Block" input mode, "Long" (1 second) hold time, and the "Crossbuck" feature.
