Lionel 58 Goose Neck Lamp Post BACK

The Lionel 58 Goose Neck Lamp Post provides lighting for streets.

The Lionel 58 Goose Neck Lamp Post was made from 1922 to 1950. Reproductions are available.

It is 7 3/8" high, making it a 1:48 scale model of a 29' 6" high lamp post.

The base and post are die-cast painted metal. Prewar versions are peacock and maroon. Postwar examples are ivory.

A mini-screw L1442W bulb is used. (Click the number for bulb specifications.) Bulbs are available in "White," "Frosted," and "Pearl" finishes.

Bulbs last longer if operated at 11 volts.

Electrical connections are made to two binding posts. One post is connected to the metal base.

The Two Lighting Relays controller can operate two strings of thirty 58 Goose Neck Lamp Posts in a day/night cycle.
